The Lambretta SX200

Produced between 1966 and 1969, the Innocenti Lambretta SX200 (Special X200) is widely regarded as the ultimate 1960s sporting scooter, featuring a 198cc two-stroke engine with 11 hp and a 66 mph top speed. It featured "slimstyle" bodywork, a distinct hexagonal headset, and enhanced performance, making it popular for both racing and stylish daily commuting.

The Model Kit

These kits are not the standard low detail, rough approximations that you can buy as diecast models or simplistic ornaments. They are large scale (30cm long), super precise and accurate renditions of the real thing. Printed using a resin DLP process, the part finish, level of detail and realism is unparalleled. Each kit comprises over 70 parts and comes complete with waterslide decals. The kit features removable side panels to reveal a fully modelled engine and includes some exquisitely craft detail parts, such as legshield badges, engine control linkages, HT coil and junction box.

Whilst these kits do come at a premium price, they are all hand finished and of a super high quality. They are the ONLY scale model kits available for the series 3 Lambretta to buy new commercially in the World.

The SX200 superseded the TV200 and, because of its tuneable engine, quickly became a favourite with the burgeoning scooter racing and custom scenes.
